Our Mission

Neighborhood Energy's mission is to commercialize hydrogen-related technologies and energy from sustainable non-polluting sources.

Our Vision

Hydrogen is the cleanest fuel available and it is also the most abundant element in the universe. We also don’t have to wait 20 years to use it. Hydrogen can be used in homes, businesses, and vehicles right now, today, in existing combustion technologies.

Your house can be heated with hydrogen, you can cook with hydrogen, and your car can be converted to burn hydrogen. This is a practical solution for today once the infrastructure of supply is in place. Hydrogen can be produced locally with sustainable energy such as wind and solar power.

Hydrogen is here and everywhere. It is the “forever fuel.”

Hydrogen is the answer to many issues in the world today, such as national security. Energy independence requires that we be in charge of our own future and that we rely on ourselves to produce the energy we need to prosper.

Another issue we face today is air-related health. The emissions coming from the tailpipe of a hydrogen vehicle yeilds essentially water vapor.

Fuel cells are extremely efficient devices that generate electricity from hydrogen and oxygen; and are the upcoming energy solution. While making the transition to fuel cells, present day combustion technologies can be converted to burn hydrogen; this bridge technology is necessary, paving the way for a hydrogen infrastructure.
